You can delete a configuration file to reset the drop down which remembers all previous names entered for other projects and other software instances when creating components and inspections
The intention of the naming suggestions is to allow users to quickly use their own company-internal nomenclature and not have to enter everything themselves every time.
The naming suggestions are stored in a configuration file (gom.ndb located in APPDATA/Roaming/gom/VERSION). The gom.ndb file can be deleted and all user-defined name suggestions will effectively be reset. You then have to start back from scratch to rebuild the auto-naming suggestion list.
Warning, there have been issues regarding auto-naming. Make sure no instance of the ZEISS Inspect or Correlate software are open and know you are deleting the gom.ndb file at your own risk. Data-loss might occur.
